Öppna Förskolan | Swedish Open Nursery

The "Öppna Förskolan" is open for kids 0-3 and parents that have a relation to Sweden. Our aim is to teach our children Swedish songs, Swedish culture and the Swedish language.

Öppna förskolan ar öppen för alla med barn mellan 0-3 och har for avsikt att uppratthalla det svenska spraket och den svenska kulturen, samt lara oss svenska sanger, visor och sagor.

We play, sing songs, have something to eat and sometimes bathe in the hotel jacuzzi.

When: Thursdays between 10:00-13:00.

Dates Spring /Summer 2012:

April: 19 and 26th at Katerina City.

May: 3 - at Svenska Skolan MAP. 10 - no meeting (Holidays)

17, 24, 31 meeting at Katerina City.

June: 7 - Meeting at Svenska Skolan (TBC) - last meeting for the season! See you in September!

Where: Schluzovaya naberezhnaya 6, Hotel Katerina City. Apartment 402, 4th floor - no elevator. You can leave stuff in the hotel luggage room. MAP

Metro: Paveletskaya

My favourite child friendly restaurant: Antresol at the brand new shopping center Tsvetnoy Boulvar.

On 6th floor is Antresol - great restaurant and big, staffed play area for kids.

On 5th floor is a fantastic food market.

Changing tables in bathrooms. Great parking. All signs in English.

Recently I discovered that also Europeiskiy shopping mall have changing tables at least in ladies bathrooms.

Advice is mainly for kids between 0-3 years of age.

Swimming!

The hotel Katerina City has a jacuzzi which is available only for us. Temperature 33C. Towels, bathrobes, hairdryer, turkish & finnish sauna - all at our disposal!
